1. Stop running
The conveying device must be stopped in an unloaded state. This is because overloading may occur during startup. In addition, if the operation is stopped for a long time, it is necessary to inspect the key bars before starting the conveying device.
2. Fixation of components
Boxes, buckets, Flat noodles and other conveying devices that are bolted to the chain may loose nuts due to vibration during operation, so please install buffer plates.
3. Temperature and freezing
In winter, when there is a temperature difference between day and night, it may cause the conveyor to freeze. When adding lubricating oil and conducting maintenance, please pay attention to the temperature changes for the conveyor containing moisture and operate the conveyor.
4. Storage of spare chains
To prevent malfunctions, it is recommended to prepare spare chains. When temporarily storing spare chains, please stack them in a room with low humidity. In addition, when storing for a long time, anti rust oil should be applied. Please install labels on the chain that fill in the product name, drawing number, purchase date, and equipment name for easy storage.
5. Preventive protection of conveyor belts
Regarding the above maintenance and repair, if a maintenance record of the conveying device is made, regularly recording the conveying capacity, conveying speed, spindle rotation speed, current, voltage, power, actual operating time, actual conveying volume, maintenance, lubricating oil addition date, accidents, etc., it can prevent accidents and facilitate maintenance.
6. Cleaning
When foreign objects or conveyor materials are attached to the chain or chain guide, please clean them regularly.
7. Storage of chains and sprockets
Please do not store the chain and sprocket in areas with dust, debris, or rain. To prevent the sprocket from rusting, please apply lubricating oil with a brush. Since the chain was not treated with rust prevention during shipment, please apply rust prevention oil and conduct regular maintenance during storage.
